The Laredo Broncos are proud to present 3 baseball camps in Laredo with MLB slugger Jose Canseco.
Canseco is a bench coach and player with the Laredo Broncos baseball team.
Jose has hit over 462 home runs in 17 MLB seasons. He was the first 40/40 man in baseball history.
The 3 Laredo camps will offer various skill training.
The 1st camp on Thursday August 19, 2010, will be under the stadium lights of Veterans Field. It will concentrate on hitting and batting practice. Kids or adults are welcomed to participate. Enrollment will be limited on this camp so sign up early. The Wood Bat League will help run the camp.
The 2nd camp on Saturday August 28, will be at 12 p.m. and will feature other Laredo Broncos baseball players as well as Jose Canseco.
The 3rd camp on Sunday August 29, will also be at 12 p.m. and will feature other Broncos players alongside Jose Canseco.
Camp costs are $100 for 1 camp day, $185 for 2 camp days or $275 for all 3 camp days.
Open to all ages. Must bring a glove. Dates subject to change. (highly unlikely but have to mention)
Canseco will sign a registered camp members personal memorbilia item at the end of the camp day.
