2 MORE DAYS... It's FINALLY here. Opening night is Saturday at 7:30 in Freedom Hall the first 1,500 fans will receive THUNDERSTIX courtesy of CHA Health. The Fire will play Hawaii (1-0) who is ranked third in the latest af2 Coaches Poll and defeated Central Valley two weeks ago 68-35.
DON'T FORGET YOU SEASON TICKET HOLDER CARD... Don't forget your season ticket holder card to get the following discounts on Saturday night: $1 Popcorn, $1 Pepsi, $1 Hot dogs, $1 Bud and Bud Light (limit two per ticket stub). All of the concession discounts are good from the time doors open until the end of the 1st quarter. You can also take your season ticket holder card to any Shoe Carnival location and receive a 20% discount on all purchases. If you haven't ordered your tickets for 2004 you can do so by calling (502) 368-0009.
COLTS CARAVAN... The Colts In Motion Trailer will be in the parking lot near the season ticket holder lot on Saturday night. You can stop by and interact with the Colts staff and get information on their 2004 season.
HE CAN SING TOO... Fire WR/LB Anthony Payton has released a CD titled Is This Love? Payton's CD will be for sale at the merchandise booth at Fire home games this season for $10.
AFL ON NBC MOVES BACK TO 3 pm... The AFL on NBC will switch back to its regular 3:00 pm time slot this Sunday. This week's game will feature the Tampa Bay Storm (3-6) at the Chicago Rush (6-3). The Rush is sitting in position for the #3 seed in the Arena Bowl XVIII playoffs while Tampa is fighting to make the playoffs after winning Arena Bowl XVII last season. You can catch this week's game on WAVE-3 on Sunday.
BRING YOUR CAN GOODS... The Fire and Kentucky Harvest have once again teamed up for a good cause. Kentucky Harvest will have collection bins on the concourse at Fire home games this season. You can also get a $1 off any ticket at the Freedom Hall box office with a can good.
