The Eagle Has Landed...For Royals' Town Hall Meeting Tonight

August 19, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, take this opportunity to remind fans about the team's annual Town Hall Meeting Tonight (Monday, August 19, 2013), from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm inside the Sovereign Performing Arts Center (136 North Sixth Street) in Reading, Pennsylvania.

We can now confirm that our ‘special guests,' Yannick Tifu and Julien Cayer, have completed the Trek from Quebec-no, not by Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle-but with a little help from our good friend, Vince James. Tifu and Cayer will join teammate, Matt Campanale (who has also confirmed his attendance tonight), the Royals' all-time leading scorer, Ryan Cruthers, Hershey Bears' broadcaster, Scott Stuccio, Royals head coach, Larry Courville, and Royals general manager, Mark Wallace, on the stage tonight. Of course, they'll all be joined by our most special guest (provided she's still in one piece after another night on the town...), Miss Kelly.

The Royals take this opportunity to remind fans that the doors at SPAC will open at 6:00 pm for persons attending the Town Hall Meeting, who can park free of charge (starting at 5:30 pm) at the Poplar and Walnut Parking Garage courtesy of the Reading Parking Authority.

A number of pertinent topics will be addressed during this season's Town Hall Meeting, including the current state of the ECHL, the Royals' schedule, the current roster, pending player personnel decisions, the organization's broadcast plans, and several new and interesting elements in the promotional schedule. The Royals never want anyone to leave empty-handed, so the team will have several drawings for prizes-including a bunch of NHL goodies from the Washington Capitals-for those in attendance; and, of course, we anticipate a bevy of Royals' championship merchandise available for purchase.

Season Tickets for the 2012-13 Reading Royals ECHL season are currently available. Call 610-898-7825 for more information or log onto www.royalshockey.com.
