The 2-4 Omaha Beef will face the 3-2 Quad City Steamwheelers on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Ralston Arena. This will be the first of two matchups against Quad City this season.
Omaha is coming off a 47-41 victory over the Kansas City Phantoms. Quarterback Anthony Iannotti powered the Beef offense with six total touchdowns and 151 total yards. He threw for 132 yards with three passing touchdowns and added three goal-line rushing touchdowns. Defensive backs Paul Dodson and Chris Perry both had interceptions. Perry returned his interception for a 49-yard touchdown.
Quad City is coming off a 43-38 victory over the Sioux City Bandits. Running back Tyler Williams commanded the Steamwheelers offense with 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Former Beef Head Coach Cory Ross will be making his return to Ralston Arena.
