The Battle for First Place Part II
June 24, 2008 - arenafootball2 (af2)
Corpus Christi Sharks News Release
With the 59-35 victory Saturday night in Houston the Sharks have once again evened their record at 6-6 for the 2008 season. The win also sets up a huge match-up Saturday night at Radiology Associates Field at the American Bank Center against division rival Bossier Shreveport. A win over the Battle Wings would give the Sharks sole possession of first place in the Southwest Division regardless of what the Austin Wranglers do against the Texas Copperheads. The Sharks currently hold the tie breaker over Austin by virtue of the point differential in the head to head match-ups.
