The Story:
The Pride will meet the Portland Thorns for the second time this campaign, the first coming in the season opener for both sides at Providence Park.
Orlando looks to bounce back from back-to-back defeats on Sunday while looking to maintain its current run of form at home that has seen the Pride take two-consecutive victories at Exploria Stadium.
The Pride seek to end the Thorns' four-match unbeaten streak in all competitions, with Sunday's visitors having won three of their last four in that stretch.
Two members of the Thorns sit tied for the league-lead in goals scored with Sophia Smith and Crystal Dunn both with five finishes on the year, the former with sole possession of the league-lead in assists as well with five.
Quote of the Week:
"Obviously [the last time we faced Portland] there was probably some first game nerves going into a hostile environment, but you remember those moments. We always look at when do we play them next and obviously that comes on Sunday. We're excited to really show what we can do against a top team. Performances and results haven't gone our way the last couple of games, but you're playing against the champions of last year and against some of the best players in the world and that's why you play. We're all looking forward to it and again to prove a point because although the result didn't go our away against Portland, I thought it was a decent performance. We've come a long way from that game and there's a bit of fire to go out there and change people's opinions and make another statement in the league."
