The RedWolves announce the signing of 3 players from Texas Wesleyan University. Derek Vaughn a 6-0, 185lb So. RHP, Cory Bafidis a 6-0, 185lb Jr. LHP and Hunter Robinson a 6-2, 210lb So. 1B/3B. "A former player of ours Blake Walker is an assistant coach at his former school and wanted very much to send us 3 of his top guys." "Blake was an outstanding player for us and a great person so we know these guys will be the same type of players both on and off the field." General Manager Jamie Young.
Ticket Packages Still Available for 2012
The RedWolves still have a few season box seats and All You Can Eat 3 Game Plans for purchase for the season. Season box seat tickets are $135 each and are good for all 28 RedWolves home games. The AYCE plans are only $30 each and are good for the games on May 31st, June 15th, and July 20th. The AYCE plans will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and sodas and only 200 total will be sold so get yours now. Call the RedWolves office at 629-0700 to purchase your RedWolves game plan.
The Florence RedWolves are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 16th season in 2012, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. Furthermore, the CPL has had over 930 alumni drafted and 46 alums make their Major League debut thus far.
