Texas Tycoons Announce Return Of Head Coach And Tryouts

Dallas, TX. The defending South Division, White Conference Champion and 2006-07 ABA Finalist Texas Tycoons have announced that Chris Terrell will return for the 2007-2008 season as Head Coach and Director of Basketball Operations. Terrell helped lead the Tycoons to a tremendous season with 25 wins and only 5 defeats. This will mark the first time in Tycoons history that the coach has been retained for a second year.

When asked aboutr the news of the agreement, Coach Terrell said, "I am really happy to announce that Mr. Key (owner) and Mr. Senters (General Manager) have asked me to lead the team back onto the court for the coming season. Team ownership, management, staff, players and coaches were great to work with last season and I am excited about the plans for this year. We were very fortunate to have some incredible talent and a strong fan base last season and I am looking forward to improving on that success and bringing a championship to Texas this year."

The Tycoons have set out to defend their Divisional and Conference championships and will be looking for key players to help them win one more game than last year at the Rookie and Free Agent Camp that will be held at the DeSoto Town Center on August 18th.
