Summer Pro League Off To Exciting Start

Maywood, CA (August 6th, 2007) - The 2007 ABA Summer League started Saturday, August 4th and it started with a bang. The Buzz took on HoopLove in a rematch of the Buzz Memorial Weekend Tournament Championship game won by HoopLove. HoopLove came out and took a 19pt league late into the 3rd quarter only to see the Buzz come back and take a 1pt lead with 5.9 second to go in the game. The HoopLove's Guard Cecil Brown completed a 3pt play to HoopLove 2pt lead. With 1.8 in the game, the Buzz inbounds to Herb Gibson, and the shot attempt fell short giving HoopLove the 89-87 win over the Buzz.
