Texas Copperheads News Release
Houston, Texas - The Texas Copperheads will begin their 2008 season with three consecutive home games at the Richard E. Berry Center in Northwest Houston. The Copperheads will open the season on Sunday March 30 as they host the Rio Grande Valley Dorados. The Florida Firecats will visit the Berry Center on Sunday April 6th for a 3pm start. The Copperheads conclude the three game season opening home stand with a 7:30pm tilt against the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings on April 12th.
The Copperheads begin their 2008 road schedule as they invade Lubbock for an April 19th meeting with the Renegades. Texas then travels to Boise for an April 26th contest against the Burn.
The Copperheads return to the friendly confines of the Berry Center on May 3rd to host the Arkansas Twisters.
Additional 2008 season home games will include a May 16th battle against the Austin Wranglers, a May 23rd contest with the Lubbock Renegades and a June 21st date with the Corpus Christi Sharks. The Copperheads close out the regular season home schedule at the Berry Center against the Central Valley Coyotes on July 12th.
Texas rounds out their road schedule with visits to Corpus Christi on May 10, Rio Grande Valley on June 7, Bossier-Shreveport on June 14, Austin on June 28 and a second visit to Corpus Christi on July 19. The Copperheads conclude their '08 road schedule and regular season on July 26 with a visit to Arkansas.
