Texas AirHogs Announce 2017 Schedule

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - The Texas AirHogs are excited to announce their 2017 season schedule. The AirHogs open up at home against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on May 18. The ball club's first home series will consist of seven games before hitting the road for their first road series against the Gary Southshore RailCats.

For their 10th season of professional baseball, the AirHogs will return to a 50-game home schedule. The addition of the Cleburne Railroaders to the American Association League has sparked a new excitement and enthusiasm for a Texas team rivalry among the two Metroplex teams. There will be 17 games split into five series between the AirHogs and the Railroaders. The two teams are currently in talks regarding a name for the rivalry series.

Other exciting schedule announcements include a home series against the Lincoln Saltdogs on the Fourth of July, where fans will be treated to a fun-filled patriotic family night at the Ballpark in Grand Prairie. The AirHogs will end the season at home Labor Day weekend against the Railroaders.

The AirHogs organization will be releasing their promotional schedule for the 2017 season in the near future. With a strong promotional schedule, the ball club's front office believes the 2017 season and will be the best season yet.
