
Team Physician Announced for Chattanooga Steamers

Chattanooga, TN-6-20-05-The A.B.A. Chattanooga Steamers are announcing the appointment of a team physician today. Dr. Eric Clarke, M.D., of Chattanooga, was chosen for the post.
Dr. Clarke took undergraduate training at Bryan College and matriculated at East Tennessee State University in graduate studies, where he received his M.D. and M.S. degrees. His residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery was completed in Buffalo, NY at S.U.N.Y-Buffalo. After a three month fellowship in Switzerland and Germany, Dr. Clarke returned to Buffalo, NY for a one year accredited fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine where he also served on the medical staff of the N.F.L. Buffalo Bills, N.H.L. Buffalo Sabers, and Buffalo State University.
Dr. Clarke practices orthopaedic surgery in Chattanooga, TN and specializes in sports medicine. He is the team physician for several high schools and colleges as well as the W.B.A. Cleveland (TN) Majic basketball team. His sports medicine involvement also encompasses volunteer work at several local, state, and national athletic events.
