
Team North Wins Second in a Row, Qualifies for Final

Troy, MI- Another stellar performance from the members of the Jr. K-Wings representing the North Division at the NAHL Prospects Tournament lead to a 4-1 victory over Team West.
Just a minute and four seconds into the opening period, Brock Raffaele got the scoring underway for Team North. Getting an assist on the goal was Drew Graves, registering his fifth point in two games at the Prospects Tournament. The goal by Raffaele stood as the game-winner until the 12-minute mark of the third period.
Other Jr. K-Wings in action for Team North Were Chris Leone, who was plus one for the game, and Robbie Payne, who was minus one.
Playing for the 18u Selects team, Kalamazoo defenseman Brett Beauvais was a minus one in his teams 2-1 loss to Team Central.
The Win for Team North qualified them for the championship game of the Prospects Tournament against Team Central. The puck is set to drop at 3 p.m.
K-Wings will return to the Borgess Health Rink at Wings West again on Sunday, February 25th against the St. Louis Bandits.
