Brown went on to show tremendous potential for the Dallas Cowboys following his stint with the Colts. He was one of the most accomplished rookies in the AFL this year, winning J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the week, and AFL MVP of the week. Talons Executive Vice President, Keith Recine is happy to see such a talented player recognized for his hard work and success. "D.J. Stephens is a very special player with a unique skill set. We are happy to see him secure an opportunity to showcase his talents at the NFL level. This opportunity underscores the fact that the AFL encompasses athletes of the highest caliber, and the Talons are the team they choose to play for."
