TONIGHT, the MAINEiacs cordially invite you the voting public along with all area State of Maine political campaigns for an exciting night of hockey!

The MAINEiacs (8-5-0-2) head into tonight's game with a three game winning streak and look to make it four against the Shawinigan Cataractes. The MAINEiacs are currently tied for second with the Rimouski Oceanic in the TELUS East Division with 18 points. Lewiston forward 23-Etienne Brodeur is currently tied for first in the QMJHL in goals scored with 12, and it 11th overall in the league in total points (12-5-17). 68- Jess Tanguy (6-7-13) and team captain 27-Cameron Critchlow (5-8-13) are just four points behind the team leader Brodeur. MAINEiacs netminder 31-Nicholas Champion is 5th overall in the league with a 2.31 goals against average.

The Cataractes (6-6-0-1) come to town winners of just one of their last four games against some tough competition. losing to Rimouski, Bathurst and Quebec, while beating Val-d'Or in the past week and a half. Shawinigan is currently in 5th place with 13 points in the TELUS West Division, one point behind Lewiston's next opponent, the Gatineau Olympiques. The Cats are lead by top scorers 9-Yannick Veillieux (8-5-13) and 54-Maximilien Le Sieur (5-6-11). Goaltender 38-Gabriel Girard sits currently 13th in the QMJHL with a 2.98 goals against average.
