Tail-Gator Pre-Game Party Before Saturday's Kickoff

Estero, FL- The Florida Firecats and WWGR Gator Country 101.9 are teaming up once again this weekend to offer a Tail-Gator pre-game party for the fans before this Saturday's game at Germain Arena.

The Firecats will host the Wiles-Barre/Scranton Pioneers at home as they begin their post-season defense of their 2004 ArenaCup championship. Florida defeated Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 48-47 at home in overtime on July 16th, the ‘Cats are 2-0 all time against the Pioneers.

Gator Country and Renda Broadcasting of Southwest Florida has been teamed up with the ‘Cats all season long as a broadcast and promotional partner helping to lead the team to their most successful season at the box office. The players have responded to the strong support going 7-1 in front of the hometown crowd.

Gator County will be broadcasting live just outside the doors of Germain Arena beginning at 5pm with a pre-game party that will feature great music, tons of food and drinks, prizes and fun for the whole family leading right up to kickoff. Fans are encouraged to get there early to have an opportunity to meet some of the players. The Florida Firekittens will also be on hand to take pictures and sign autographs.

After registering a franchise best 14-2 record and wrapping up home field advantage throughout the playoffs, the Firecats will host the Pioneers for the 2nd time this season on August 13th with the kickoff scheduled for 7:40pm. Florida is 2-0 at home all-time in the postseason. Playoff tickets are now on sale.
