Dusters Listening Party

Amarillo Venom News Release

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our passionate, devoted fans who have supported Dusters football this season. We stepped up to a new league, and faced new challenges head on. Without the backing of each and every Dusters fan, this team can't succeed.

I was so fired up to see over 150 Duster faithful at the playoff game last weekend in Oklahoma City. All of you who made the trip down I-40, in spite of our 4-game losing streak, inspired our players. That truly exemplified what this team and this part of the country are all about. We shocked the Yard Dawgz, and we shocked the world of af2 once again.

I know that most of you can't make the trip to Memphis for our battle against the Xplorers on Friday night, but I want to encourage you to listen to our game broadcast. We go on the air Friday night at 7:10 pm on 1440AM The Score. We are excited to announce that Logan's Roadhouse on I-40 in Amarillo will be hosting a listening party for all the Dusters fans. You can eat a great meal and have a good time with your fellow Dusters fans. If you are out of the listening area, you can listen to the game broadcast via our website at www.dustersfootball.com. We had technical difficulties last week with the internet broadcast, but those issues have been corrected and we will be live on Friday night.

The passion and intensity that accompany playoff arena football is hard to describe in words. As a broadcast team, we will do our best to allow our fans listening in to visualize the game as it unfolds, and get a taste of the atmosphere that goes along with this wonderful sport.

With Passion,

Warren McCarty

General Manager
