Tacoma Stars News Release
TACOMA, WA. - As the Tacoma Stars defense continues to take shape, the team has announced the re-signing of veteran Cory Keitz to the squad. As per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Keitz will be in his fifth year with the Stars when the season begins in November. A regular on defense for Tacoma, Keitz has appeared in 72 games for the team and amassed 28 points in that span on 15 goals and 13 assists. He had his best season offensively last year with six goals and a pair of assists, good for eight points.
Head Coach Nick Perera values all that Keitz brings to the team and organization. "Keeping Cory in our organization was a priority for us. He's easily one of the most underrated players in our league and has the potential to be one of the best defenders in the MASL. I think Cory's leadership and ability are going to be vital to the organization as we continue to improve and move forward."
