Indianapolis Indians News Release

INDIANAPOLIS -- T2 Systems Inc.'s, philanthropic efforts during the company's annual all-employee meeting are its biggest yet. Dubbed T2's BIG GIVE, today's event will result in a renovated baseball field at LeGore Boys & Girls Club on the near west side of Indianapolis.

Nearly 50 T2 employees from the United States and Canada are teaming up with the Indianapolis Indians, J&D Turf and Victory Waste Solutions. Jamie Mehringer, one of J&D Turf's founding partners and the former head groundskeeper at Victory Field, will oversee the field renovation.

The day will include a complete field overhaul. The crew will remove sod; install bases, the pitchers mound and home plate; topdress the infield and build two sets of bleachers. To ensure the ongoing maintenance of the field, T2 Systems is providing a complete set of field tools and accessories. J&D Turf will also give the LeGore Boys & Girls Club staff a lesson on maintenance.

Joining the festivities will be Ryan Bowman, the Indianapolis Indians' Community Relations Manager, and Rowdie, the Indians' mascot.

Late in the day, T2 Systems' President and CEO, Mike Simmons, will throw the inaugural pitch before the Boys & Girls Club members take on T2 employees during the first-ever game on the new field. Simmons also will announce the name of the newly established field as decided by the children.

"Coming together as a company to help our great Indianapolis community is something everyone can feel good about. We feel privileged to be able to offer our services and look forward to enjoying the experience with such a deserving organization," said Simmons.

Although several organizations were in need of additional resources, the LeGore Boys & Girls Club, 5228 W. Minnesota Street in Indianapolis, was selected based on its specific needs. On any given day more than 125 children, ages 5-18, visit the west side facility that many of them call their "second home." Juan Ongay, the director, was thrilled with T2 Systems' decision of building a baseball field for the Club and its children to enjoy.
