February 23, 2018 - American Association (AA) - Kansas City T-Bones News Release

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones are excited to announce that the team will host Eric Hosmer Tribute Night on June 14th when the T-Bones play the Sioux City Explorers at 7:05pm at T-Bones Stadium.

The T-Bones will feature various game-night activities and specials based around Hosmer's famous uniform #35. Specials will include select ticket prices of $3.50, and all fans 35 years old get in free (with driver's license proof of age).

In addition, fans wearing #35 (or his new #30 Padres number) will have the opportunity to come down to the field post game to take a picture at first base, or they can re-enact Hosmer's famous World Series slide at home plate.

The T-Bones will also feature select concessions specials for .35 cents during the game, and there will be a Hosmer haircut look-alike contest on the dugout during the game. Fans can have their hair cut by area barbers to emulate the famous haircut of #35 and pose for selfies with an Eric Hosmer cardboard cutout.

The T-Bones will also have cell phone companies on hand at the park to explain the art of "text messaging"(how to send and receive text messages).

Eric Hosmer played for the Kansas City Royals for seven years, making two World Series appearances, winning four Gold Gloves and one Silver Slugger Award. Hosmer recently signed with the San Diego Padres.

Full and half-season ticket packages for 2018, flex plans and group ticket sales are now on sale online or by calling (913) 328-5618 or visiting in person the T-Bones Stadium Box Office. Single game tickets go on sale for Wyandotte County Residents on March 13th and the general public March 15th.
