T-Bones Open Tryouts Set For May 2

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones will hold open tryouts for the 2010 season at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on May 2.

"Our annual tryouts are a great opportunity for players to showcase themselves and make an impression on our coaching staff," said general manager Chris Browne. "Specifically, it's a great chance for players from the metro area to get noticed."

Some familiar faces have joined the T-Bones out of open tryouts over the years, including Brandon Jones and Eric Vega. Registration will begin at 2:00 p.m. and tryouts will start promptly at 3:00. Pre-registration will be $60 per player. On-site registration is $70 per player.
