
T-Bones Add Pitcher to Staff

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones and manager Andy McCauley have signed rookie pitcher Bobby Carrington. The transaction was made prior to the team's final game of their recently completed homestand.
Carrington, 24, attended Holyoke Community College and the University of New Haven before going to Northeastern University. Carrington pitched three years for NU, posting a 1-8 record with a 6.85 ERA in 37 career appearances.
Carrington finished his Husky career with four saves and 55 strikeouts in 86 and two-thirds innings. He made his professional debut on Sunday in the T-Bones 20-16 win over the Joliet JackHammers at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
The T-Bones open a nine game road trip tonight with the Winnipeg Goldeyes at CanWest Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This will be the first of a three-game series between the two teams.
