(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, October 5, the Peterborough Petes hosted the Sudbury Wolves for their second home game of the 2023-24 season. Sudbury won the game by a score of 4-0.

The game was the Petes first loss of the season, and brings them to 2-1 on the year. Liam Sztuska stopped 40/44 in the loss.

First Period:

Sudbury Goal - Owen Protz (1), Assist - Ryan Pryce (1), Nathan Villeneuve (2)

Sudbury Goal - Nick Yearwood (3), Assists - Jakub Chromiak (1), Ethan Larmand (1)

Second Period:

Sudbury Goal - Kieron Walton (1), Unassisted

Third Period:

Sudbury Goal - Evan Konyen (2), Assists - David Goyette (5) Andre Anania (2)

The Petes are back in action on Thursday, October 12 when they host the London Knights at the PMC. The game will be the return of 2023 Playoff MVP and former Petes goaltender Michael Simpson, as the Knights visit for the only time this season. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Tickets can be purchased. Fans can also catch the game on YourTV and Freq 90.5.
