HOUSTON - Houston Comets F Sheryl Swoopes is out for tonight's game at the Washington Mystics. Swoopes suffered back spasms in Sunday's home win against the Minnesota Lynx and did not travel with the team to Washington. She will be re-evaluated when the Comets return to Houston on Wednesday.
Swoopes, the league's only 3-time MVP winner, is averaging 15.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in six games (six starts) for the Comets this season.
