Swing And Bees Rained Out Tuesday

Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
Tuesday's scheduled contest between the Swing of the Quad Cities and the Burlington Bees has been cancelled due to rain, the Swing announced Tuesday afternoon. Since the Swing and Bees are not scheduled to meet again in the first half, the game will not be made up.
After a league-wide off day on Wednesday, the Swing will be back in action on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. against the West Michigan Whitecaps. The game will feature a Bent River Brewing Company Thirsty Thursday, while Rock 104.9's Dave and Darren will entertain fans on the River Pavilion.
TICKETS: Tickets for all events at John O'Donnell Stadium can be purchased by calling the Swing of the Quad Cities ticket office at (563) 328-2000, coming to the box office located at the stadium along South Gaines Street, or by logging on to www.swingbaseball.com.
UP NEXT: The Swing will be at John O'Donnell Stadium for a 10-game homestand from May 14-24, beginning an extended home stretch in which 14 of their next 18 games will be played in Davenport. All Swing games feature a radio broadcast that can be heard on The Truth AM-1270 or online at www.swingbaseball.com, with the pre-game show starting 15 minutes prior to scheduled first pitch.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS: The homestand continues against the West Michigan Whitecaps on a Bent River Brewing Company Thirsty Thursday with Rock 104.9's Dave and Darren on the River Pavilion. Friday will feature a breathtaking fireworks display, and fans arriving early to Saturday night's contest will get a free Mt. Dew T-shirt! Sunday's Family Fun Day will wind down the weekend, but the homestand continues with more great promotions and a visit from the South Bend Silver Hawks from May 21-24.
