
Swihart to Rehab with Spinners

LOWELL, MA - The Lowell Spinners, short-season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will be hosting Red Sox catcher Blake Swihart on a major league rehab assignment on Sunday, August 12. Swihart will play behind the plate in the first game of a double-header with first pitch scheduled for 3:05 p.m.
Swihart never played for the Spinners during his time in the minors making this his Lowell debut. Swihart joins a list of big leaguers to rehab in Lowell this season including Brandon Phillips, Rafael Devers, and Marcus Walden.
