Port Huron, MI - The Prowlers avenged their 6-5 O.T. loss to Danbury the night before, with a 6-5 win in O.T. Justin Alonzo would score the game winner 50 seconds in the extra period on the power play.

First frame was a little bit more even from the night before. The Prowlers would only be outshot by 1 14-13 but the 1st period would end up in a 1-1 tie. Dan Laughlin would net the ice breaker two minutes into the first period on the 2nd Titan attempt at the net. The score would stay 1-0 for 11 minutes until Chris Leveille would tie the game at one, with his 5th point in two games. The score would stay 1-1 heading into the 2nd period.

Port Huron who hasn't a lead in the last 4 periods would make it 5. Danbury's Dean Yakura would put Danbury back on top but not for long, Austin Daae would get his 3rd game tying goal in 4 games, five minutes after the Yakura goal. Port Huron would only be able to keep the game tied for four minutes. Tyler Gjurich would record his 71st point and 39th goal of the season, both of which lead the F.H.L. Danbury would be back on top 3-2 after two frames.

The recipe to boost your team is usually a fight, for the Prowlers. Instead they got one of the most beautiful goals scored in the F.H.L. this season from Zach Tatrn, five minutes into the third period that would tie the game at 3 apiece. Three and a half minutes later Johnathon Juliano would put Danbury back up 4-3, Steve Brown would record his first of two assists on the final two goals for Danbury. 33 seconds later Justin Alonzo would let everyone know he was in the building as he got would find twine for his 1st point of the night, and the Prowlers again would tie the game at 4-4. A bad line change for the Titans would result in Danbury being behind in the game for the first time in 5 and a half periods.

Justin Alonzo would break out with Ahmed Mahfouz on a 2 on 0, Alonzo would find Mahfouz through the slot and Mahfouz would net his 1st goal since Jan. 28th to put the Prowlers up 5-4 with 6:15 left to go in the third.

A Penalty from Ahmed Mahfouz would put the Prowlers short handed with 3:45 left to go in the third, and Danbury scored their first power play goal out of their last 8 tries. Dean Yakura would bury the puck stick side to make it a 5-5 tie. Before the period ended, Danbury would be called for too many men with 26 seconds left to go in the third giving the Prowlers a Power Play in O.T.

The first minute of O.T. Justin Alonzo would net the game winner in O.T. with a shot from the middle of the point that bounced high in the air off of Titan goaltender Mike Pearless and fell gently behind the goal line for the game winner. Ahmed Mahfouz and Justin Alonzo would get three points a piece and Leveille would record his 2nd point of the night on the Justin Alonzo game winner in O.T. The Prowlers will now go on the road to Illinois to take on the Danville Dashers. The Danbury Titans will be on the road in Dayton, Ohio to take on the Demolition. Both puck drops are scheduled at 7:30 tomorrow.
