Danbury Titans News Release
It has been a long road trip through three games for the Titans as every game has gone to overtime. Tonight's contest went further into the shootout where the Demolition were victorious with the final score of 5-4.
Dean Yakura (2), Tyler Gjurich, and Ryan Patsch had the goals for the Titans who held a lead in the third period before Dayton tied it up with a power play goal. Danbury would have a huge opportunity in overtime after starting the extra session with a power play. However, they could not cash in and despite other chances, the game went to a shootout.
Gjurich scored the only goal of the shootout for the Titans while Dayton's Martin Uhnak and Jesse Felten tallied to give Dayton the win. Danbury earns a point for the second consecutive night and will look to finish off their long road trip on a high note when they faceoff against the Demolition one more time.
The Titans will return home Friday February 26th when they host the Brewster Bulldogs at 7:35 PM. For tickets and information visit www.danburytitans.com or call 844-DTHOCKEY.
