WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!: The Ice enters this week's play in second place in the East Division with a 6-4-1 record and trails first place Cedar Rapids (7-1-1) by just two points. Indiana looks to build upon its 4-0-1 home start with a pair of games at the Pepsi Coliseum this weekend. At home, the team has outscored its opponents by a 21-14 margin and has been awesome on the power play with a 27.3% clip (6-22) in those five home games.

"MAC" THE CENTER: Forward Todd McIlrath looks to extend upon a USHL-season best seven game point streak when he takes the ice this weekend for a pair of home games against Chicago and Green Bay. The talented centerman has averaged over two points a game for his streak (4G, 11A) and has moved into third in the USHL in points (17). His 12 assists on the season is second best in the league and he leads all Ice players with three games of three-or-more points.

KLEMPA THE WING: The second half of the Ice's offensive duo is winger Tomas Klempa. The veteran forward has points in seven of his last eight games (6G, 7A) which has moved him into a tie for fifth in the USHL in scoring with 14 points.

USHL's Top Scorers: Brock Bradford (OMA)- 20 pts, Corey Carlson (OMA)- 18 pts, Todd McIlrath (IND)- 17 pts, Trevor Smith (OMA)- 16 pts, Tomas Klempa (IND)- 14 pts, Dan Riedel (LIN)- 14 pts

ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN': Blueliner Mike Beck continues his breakthrough year as he is tied for first among USHL d-men in points (9) and goals (3), but is first in power play goals (3)...He also has five points (3G, 2A) in his last four games....Indiana has four blueliners in the top 15 among defensemen in points (Beck-9, Jay Cascalenda-5, Eddie Del Grosso-5, A.J. Panchenko-5), which is more than any other USHL team.... Goaltender B.J. O Brien is fourth in GAA (2.54) and fifth in save percentage (.912) among USHL netminders who have played seven or more games.

ICE CRUMBS: The Ice is 6-2-1 against its East Division foes...Indiana has a power play goal in six of its last seven games and ranks second overall in the USHL on the power play (11-53, 20.8%)...The Ice is one of only two teams in the league to not allow a shorthanded goal.

THE OTHER SIDE: The Ice is 2-0-0 this year against Chicago and 1-1-0 against Green Bay...Chris Clackson has two of the four goals for Chicago against the Ice this year...First round NHL Draft Pick Blake Wheeler has five points (2G, 3A) in two games against Indiana this season.

ICE OUTLASTS BLACK HAWKS IN SHOOTOUT 2-1

* B.J. O'Brien stopped 27 in regulation and three of four in the shootout to lead the Ice to victory...Todd McIlrath had the lone regulation goal, while Ryan Peckskamp, Tomas Klempa and Travis Winter found the back of the net in the shootout.

* ROUGHRIDERS WIN ANOTHER CLOSE ONE OVER ICE 4-3

* Alec Martinez' scored with just under two minutes to play to give Cedar Rapids the win...Tomas Klempa (G, A) and Todd McIlrath (3A) combined for five points in the loss.
