Sweden Hammers Denmark 10-1, Next Up…Canada

Perdubice, Czech Republic - Chilliwack Bruins forward Oscar Moller scored once and set up another as Team Sweden hammered Team Denmark 10-1 in World Junior Hockey action.

Moller scored the first goal of the game for Sweden to tie the game 1-1 at 7:19 of the first period. Moller then assisted on a goal by linemate Patrik Berglund in the third period. After spotting the Danes a 1-0 lead, the Swedes scored 10 unanswered goals to complete the rout.

Sweden now moves to 2-0 in preliminary play and is tied with Canada for top spot in Pool A. Canada and Sweden will face off tomorrow at 11 am Pacific time in a battle for first place in Pool A. The game can be seen on TSN, with pre game coverage beginning at 10:30 a.m. Moller's Bruin team mates are planning to take in the game as a team.

Chilliwack Bruins Hockey returns tonight as the Bruins take on the Prince George Cougars in a two game series up in P.G. The Bruins next home game will be on New Year's Eve as they host the Kelowna Rockets. Game time will be at 7 pm.
