
SWB Yankees and Pawtucket Rained Out

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees News Release
Pawtucket, RI - Saturday night's game between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees and the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader during the Yankees next series in Pawtucket as the visiting team at a time and date to be determined. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre will be the visiting team at McCoy Stadium over the last four days of the regular season, August 31 - September 3.
The Yankees and Red Sox will wrap up the current series with a single game on Sunday afternoon beginning with a 1:05 PM first pitch. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre will start lefthander Mike O'Connor (2-4, 3.90 ERA), while Pawtucket will counter with right hander Billy Buckner (2-5, 5.50 ERA).
