Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced changes to the team's front office as approved by Owner Fred Festa.

"I am happy with the way things are progressing and feel that these staffing moves will only continue to improve our team and its impact in the community," Festa said.

Festa, who also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Maryland-based W. R. Grace and Co., has named Chris Lewis team president effective immediately. Lewis had previously served as general manager and executive vice president since 2012.

In addition, the Swamp Rabbits are proud to welcome three new employees and announce the promotions of two others.

Megan Dotson has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), while Alan Fuehring becomes Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations. Justin Gutkowski returns to the team as Director of Digital Marketing/Creative Services after serving as Digital Marketing/Creative Services Coordinator during the 2014-15 season, while Kaitlyn Unruh has been hired as Video Production Coordinator and Abby Koba becomes Graphic Design Coordinator. Both Unruh, a 2015 Bob Jones University graduate, and Koba, a 2015 Limestone College graduate, had previously served as marketing interns since in the beginning of last season. In addition, the Swamp Rabbits previously announced Craig Purcell as the team's new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

"The organization has made significant strides, particularly over the past couple of seasons and that is due to the hard work of our dedicated and talented front office staff," Lewis said. "We are excited about the additions to our staff and are happy to reward existing staff members for their excellent work."

The Swamp Rabbits expect to make at least two additional hires as the 2016-17 campaign draws nearer in a continued effort to increase visibility in the community and maintain a premier level of entertainment for all fans at home games.
