
Swamp Foxes Want You to "Come Out & Play"

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC â This Saturday, October 11, the Charleston Swamp Foxes arenafootball2 team invites kids and adults alike to come out & play as members of the organization will be taking part in the annual Charleston "Come Out and Play" event held at James Island County Park.
The event is sponsored by the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission and by MUSC Children's Hospital.
The "Come Out and Play" event is designed for youth of all ages and focuses on student wellness, environmental preservation, and safety issues, while at the same time providing kids and families with a sampling of all there is to do in the Lowcountry. There will be hands-on activities, non-stop entertainment, interpretive programs, athletics and much, much more!
A sampling of the activities that will be available on Saturday include canoeing and camping demonstrations, a climbing wall, Gullah storytelling, inflatable yard toys, live music, Brigit O'Brien the "Balloon Babe & Friends," and appearances by several of the Lowcountry's mascots, including the Swamp Foxes' own, Sly Fox!
