SEE YOUR DAD on the new Volcanoes Stadium Video Graphics Board ! Surprise your Dad, Husband, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, etc., on Father's Day this Sunday !! The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes will be honoring Father's this Sunday by displaying photographs of Father's on the Stadium's new 18' x 18' Volcanotron Video Graphics Board, situated just above the right field fence. Fans who would like to honor their Father should email a photo and father's name to probasebal@aol.com by Saturday, June 17. The photos will run during the Volcanoes Father's Day Game this Sunday, June 18. The game begins at 5:05pm. Tickets are still available for the game and range in price from $6.00 to $10.00 -- call 503-390-2225 ext. 3007. A special tribute will be in Memorandum for Father's who have passed away. For those photographs please include the Father's name and year of birth and year of passing i.e., John Doe 1929 - 1986. E-mailed Father's Day Photos will be displayed for free, compliments of the Volcanoes' Crater Community Care Program.
Take your Dad to Breakfast on Father's Day ! Volcanoes Stadium will open its Lava Lodge to serve breakfast this Sunday, June 18, Father's Day. Pancakes, Sausages, Eggs, Juice and Coffee will be served from 9:00am until noon for just $5.00 per person. Mimosa's and champagne will be available for an additional charge. Father's and their children will also be invited to play catch on the field. Breakfast tickets can be pre-purchased by calling the Volcanoes at 503-390-2225 ext. 3007.

Host Family Opportunities Still Available. This is an excellent opportunity to "Ëlive the life of a professional athlete' through an "Ëadopted player' for a few months. Team members will need housing for the period from June 24th to approximately September 6th, depending on post-season play. Interested families should have a spare bedroom, live close to the Keizer area or on public transportation routes or have alternative transportation methods available for the players. Team members averaged age is 20 - 22 years old. The players do supply compensation to the families to help offset their room and board expenses.
