Surge Start Hockey Happy Hour

Mississippi Surge coach Jeff Bes is always willing to talk hockey and fans can do that with him starting Monday, December 5th at the Surge Hockey Happy Hour, held at Bob's Burger Factory.
Bes and a Surge player will be on hand at the restaurant, starting at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the latest developments with the Surge, and preview upcoming games. Bob's Burger Factory is located on Pass Road, just west of the intersection with Courthouse Road.
"These coach's shows are a lot of fun," Bes said. "It gives the fans a good chance to ask the questions they want to, of me and the players. Plus the room they have set up at Bob's Burger Factory is perfect for this."
The Surge will also feature some of their community partners during a segment of the show. Vice-president of communications Steve McCall said that segment will highlight the Surge's efforts off the ice.
"We want this to be very interactive with the fans, like it is in so many other markets," McCall, who will serve as emcee during the Hockey Happy Hour, said. "The more questions the fans ask, the less work I have to do."
"And more of the fans and less of Steve is always a good thing," Bes added with a laugh.
The first Hockey Happy Hour will take place the day after the Surge returns from three road games in three days, starting Friday in Augusta at 6:35. The Surge will be hosting a watch party for that game at the Biloxi Beach Hooters.
The next home game for Mississippi is Saturday, December 17th.
