Surf Contain The Los Angeles Slam Again In Exciting Rematch

San Diego Surf welcome the New Year with a 145-135 triumph against the Los Angeles Slam Sunday night. The audience was excited throughout the physical play as the 10-point leads by the Surf each quarter continued.

LA Slam bring well-known names to the court like famous hip-hop artist "The Game", And-One's famed TV/Street Basketball star "Bone Collector", and previous Forward for the NBA's Miami Heat (1996), Charlotte Hornets (1997) and Golden State Warriors (1999) Tony Farmer.

New Surf addition, Keoni Watson [San Jose State] was the player of the game reaching 28 pts/3 3ptrs, and 11 assists. Jamal Kendrick, who high-fived rows of cheering fans after the victory, scored 26 points, and 9 rebounds. Master of layup shots, John Clark contributed 22 points, 3 3-ptrs, and 7 rebounds. Chris "Mr. Mid-Range" Agnes made 20 points and 4 3-pointers.

A double technical foul disqualified "The Game" from Q4, after a total of 19 points and 6 rebounds. Slam's player of the game was Joshay Rocketts with 30 points, 4 3-pointers, and 14 rebounds. "Bone Collector" recorded 36 points. Tony Farmer makes it into the top Slam players of the game with 10 points, and 6 rebounds.
