Music City Tops Power Rankings
January 5, 2010 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings for the week ending January 3rd and the Music City Stars and SETX Mavericks held the #1 and #2 positions.
"This is a great week for ABA basketball," stated Steve Tucker, Co-Chairman of the Power Ranking Committee. "We're heading north to play three tough teams this week, the Bluegrass Stallions, the Kentucky Bisons and the Music City Stars. It should be very interesting."
"This week, we've added a minimum number of games played to the equation," stated Damone Hale, the other Co-Chairman. "Teams needed at least six games played to be included and Steve and I believe that this represents the true strength of the ABA at this time."
