ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Chicago Bandits will host ALS Awareness Night on Thursday, August 16 when they take on the Carolina Diamonds in the final home series of the 2012 season.
As the Official Charitable Partner of the team, the Bandits and the Les Turner ALS Foundation have worked together this season to help raise awareness for ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
The game will be highlighted by the team wearing customized jerseys featuring the Official Les Turner ALS Foundation logo and colors. In addition, a silent auction will be held throughout the game for the opportunity to bid on and win your favorite Bandits player game worn ALS Foundation jersey. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Les Turner ALS Foundation
Volunteers will be also be in attendance to distribute educational information about ALS.
