Milwaukee Wave News Release

MILWAUKEE, WI (March 9, 2006) - The Wave is teaming up with the Women's Soccer Club, Inc. to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Wisconsin and the WSC. Wave players Nick Vorberg, Matt Schmidt, Johnny Torres, Greg Howes, Troy Dusosky and Assistant Coach Art Kramer will serve as guest blackjack dealers for the evening. The casino night will also feature various casino games, silent and live auctions and plenty of music from the band Ultimatum.

The event will directly benefit those parents of children with epilepsy. It will serve as a respite care night for five families who do not receive a break from this illness, giving parents an opportunity to enjoy the night out while a personal babysitter watches their children. It will also raise funds for children with seizure disorders to attend summer soccer camps.

Women's Soccer Club empowers women of all walks of life, all levels of fitness, to reshape, to reclaim themselves and to boost their own self-esteem. That in turns benefits other components of their lives. They are women helping women to succeed and to feel in control of who they are. WSC has sponsored specialized soccer programs for kids with epilepsy and their siblings to play indoor soccer.
