
Super Sports Package on Sale Thursday

Credit Union Centre, home of the Blades, announced a new package featuring tickets to one of the NHL preseason games, the Blades home opener, and the rodeo.
The Credit Union Centre Super Sports Package includes:
- One New York Islanders Game Ticket against the Calgary Flames OR the Edmonton Oilers;
- One Saskatoon Blades vs Regina Pats Home Opener Ticket;
- One New Holland Saskatoon Stampede Pro Rodeo Ticket.
The Super Sports Package kicks off Friday, September 18th with the Blades Home Opener against the Regina Pats. Prior to the game the Blades will raise the 2008-09 East Division banner to the rafters of Credit Union Centre. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
The next night, Saturday, September 19th, the New York Islanders clash with the Calgary Flames in a National Hockey League preseason battle. The second game in the Islanders series of preseason games, on Sunday, September 20th, sees the NHL team take on the Edmonton Oilers.
The final piece of the Super Sports Package is the New Holland Saskatoon Stampede Pro Rodeo slated for October 9th, 10th, and 11th at Credit Union Centre.
On Thursday, September 10th, an additional 1,000 seats will be made available to the public for each of the New York Islanders pre-season games on September 19th against the Calgary Flames and September 20th against the Edmonton Oilers. The additional 1,000 seats per game are part of the seating expansion happening at Credit Union Centre in preparation of the 2010 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships.
In keeping with this theme of this exciting weekend of hockey for the first 48 hours starting on September 10th at 9:00 AM the new seats go on-sale for sports fans to buy the special Super Sports Package only.

With this package we are limiting each order to a maximum six (6) tickets per order. Customers will be required to bring their Super Sports Package NHL Game Ticket(s) to the Credit Union Centre Box Office only. Here they will be validated for the September 18th Blades Home Opener, and the New Holland Saskatoon Stampede Pro Rodeo and at this time the customers Blades Home Opener ticket(s) will be printed and rodeo voucher(s) provided. The rodeo voucher is redeemable after September 18th for a ticket(s) to the customer's choice of rodeo performance on October 9, 10, & 11, 2009.
This special offer will allow the sport fans the opportunity to enjoy 3 great events for one incredible price.
After the 48 hours this special will end and all remaining Islanders game tickets will be sold at regular prices.
