JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Suns needed some charity as they beat the Chattanooga Lookouts, 4-3, Sunday in front of 4,844 fans at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

Lookouts infielder Bryan Anderson pitched the ninth inning in a 3-3 game and allowed a game-winning, bloop opposite-field double to left field by Derek Michaelis to give the Suns a last at bat victory. Anderson (0-1) earned the loss, while Jason Frasor (1-0) earned the victory delivering a scoreless ninth inning for Jacksonville.

The Suns (51-60 overall, 20-22 second half) trailed 3-2 after a three-run Lookouts eighth inning but tied the score when Chattanooga reliever Casey Dehart walked four Suns, which yielded the tying run.

In the eighth, Suns reliever Greg Bauer allowed an RBI single to Alejandro Diaz and a two-run home run to Ed Encarnacion which negaited a 2-0 Suns lead. Victor Rodriguez hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning off Lookouts spot starter Dave Gil to give the Suns their initial lead.

Suns starter Greg Miller made his double-A debut a successful one. He shut out Chattanooga (50-62, 18-24) over seven innings, allowing three two-out singles, walking one and striking out six. At 18 years, nine months, Miller is the youngest player in the Southern League.

Right-hander Heath Totten (8-9, 3.53 ERA) is scheduled to face Birmingham Barons lefty Byeong An (3-1, 3.40) at 7 p.m. Central at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
