PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns have recalled guard Diante Garrett from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League, the club announced today.
Garrett was assigned for his second stint with the Suns' D-League affiliate yesterday, April 6, and appeared in one game for the Jam. The 6-4, 175-pound Garrett recorded 32 points, six assists and six rebounds in Bakersfield's 106-105 victory last night that helped the club finish the regular season with a franchise-best 36-14 (.720) record and secure the No. 1 overall seed in the NBA Development League Playoffs.
Garrett has appeared in 18 games this season for the Suns, averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 assists in 7.5 minutes.
