Pittsfield Suns News Release
The Pittsfield Suns (6-7) fell below .500 for the first time this season after droping a road contest to the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (6-6), 6-3.
In their last visit to Maine this season, the Suns were looking to work some of their road magic again after dropping 2 of 3 on their homestand. At first, the Suns did not make it easy on themselves; falling behind 3-0 while stranding four runners in the first five innings.
The Suns were able to tie the game in the top of the sixth though with RBIs from Ryan Olmo and Kyle Singleton. The Suns unfortunately gave the lead right back with three runs in the top of the seventh.
The Suns continue tonight, June 25th in Portsmouth, New Hampshire against the Seacoast Mavericks.
