Dylan Begin (UMass) went 2-4 with a home run to help the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (6-6) grab a 6-3 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (6-7) at The Ball Park on Monday. The bats continued to come alive as Fran Whitten (UMaine) hit his second home run of the season to follow up his home run in Seacoast on Saturday.
Evan Brisentine held the Pittsfield Suns hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two. Adam Sargent (Miami) improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. Sargent struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.
