PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns (3-4, 32-44) were topped by the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (3-4, 28-47) 2-1 Thursday night from Pensacola Bayfront Stadium.
Daniel Wright (W, 4-6) in his start for Pensacola worked seven innings surrendering two hits while walking two and striking out six. Matt Tomshaw (L, 3-5) generated seven innings allowing two runs (both earned) on three hits while walking one and striking out five in the loss for Jacksonville. Zack Weiss (S, 5) earned the save for Pensacola in which he offered up a home run to David Adams but nothing more in the ninth.
