Suns Announce Roster Moves

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to this afternoon's game against the Montgomery Biscuits at Bragan Field.

Infielder Audy Ciriaco has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to June 15 with a right hamstring strain. Ciriaco has played in 50 games with the Suns, and is hitting .219 with five homers and 20 RBI.

In a corresponding move, catcher Aaron Dudley has been transferred from the GCL Marlins to the active Suns roster. In his 12 games for the Suns, the backstop compiled an .071 mark (1-14) with an RBI.

The Suns roster now stands at 25, in addition to Nathan Eovaldi on a major league rehab assignment.
