Arizona Sundogs News Release

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced today that they will wear special state of Arizona themed uniforms on Saturday, Jan. 31 as they take on the Rocky Mountain Rage.

The second of four specialty jersey nights to benefit The Arizona Sundogs Foundation and its six 'Team Up For Hope' partners this season, the uniform design incorporates the colors red, yellow and blue along with silhouettes of landscapes common to Arizona.

The jerseys, which will widely remain a secret until Saturday's pregame warm-ups, prominently feature the Arizona state flag throughout.

The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off immediately after the game in sections 209 and 210. All proceeds benefit The Arizona Sundogs Foundation and its six 'Team Up For Hope' partners.

The Sundogs collected $18,700 for charity in the first specialty jersey auction of the season on Dec. 19. In nine specialty jersey auctions in the franchise's first two-and-a-half years, the Club has raised nearly $250,000 for non-profit agencies throughout Northern Arizona.

The dates and themes for the two remaining specialty jersey nights have yet to be determined.

Saturday's game against the Rage is set for 7:05pm. Tickets start at just $14 and are available by phone at 1-866-4-GET-TIX (1-866-443-8849), online at www.gettix.net and in person at the Tim's Toyota Center Box Office. For more information, contact the Arizona Sundogs at (928) 772-5555.
