
Sundogs Partner with Town of Prescott Valley for Second-Straight New Year's Celebration

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs have partnered with the Town of Prescott Valley for the second-straight year to celebrate the New Year this Wednesday, Dec. 31.
The Arizona Sundogs will battle division rival the New Mexico Scorpions in the two clubs' third annual New Year's Eve game. The Scorpions have won the previous two New Year's Eve meetings at Tim's Toyota Center, 2-1 in 2006 and 5-3 in 2007. Tickets start at just $14 and are available by phone at 1-866-4-GET-TIX (1-866-443-8849), online at www.gettix.net and in person at the Tim's Toyota Center Box Office.
Festivities begin at 3:30pm in the Prescott Valley Entertainment District across from Harkins Theatres with inflatables provided by Freedom Station. Pregame activities outside Tim's Toyota Center are scheduled to begin at 5:00pm and include a photo opportunity with Burnie the Sundog and the Ray Miron President's Cup trophy, inflatables provided by Freedom Station, carnival games, airbrush tattoos and face painting.
At 5:30pm, the town will host a bonfire with hot cocoa and S'mores across from Tim's Toyota Center. Boston tribute band, Don't Look Back will take the stage a half-hour later with fireworks to follow.
Following the game, the Sundogs will host their first skate with the team event of the season. Vouchers for the post-game skate will be available at the Sundogs' sales table outside the Team Store during Wednesday's game and cost $5.00. A limited number of vouchers will be available on a first-come, first-serve. Fans must attend Wednesday night's game in order to purchase a post-game skate voucher.
Activities outside the arena will resume at 11:00pm as the James Kole Band takes stage prior to the midnight fireworks display to ring in 2009 New Year.
