Arizona Sundogs News Release


Arizona heads into the week atop the CHL Southwest Division with a 16-6-1 record (33 points) and a two-game winning streak.

Sundogs Storylines:

- Arizona has a four-game home winning streak dating back to 11/3.

- Tyler Redenbach, recalled to San Antonio (AHL) on 12/17, leads the CHL in scoring with 44 points and his 32 assists are also tops in the league. He owns a league-high 21-game point streak, having register at least a point in every game he has played for Arizona this season.

- Arizona's power play ranks first in the CHL at 25.31%, having tallied a league-best 41 PP goals.

- The Sundogs penalty kill continues to improve, ranking 7th at 82.48%.

- Arizona has four rookies in the top nine in scoring. Mark Kolanos is tied for the CHL rookie scoring lead with 26 points (13g/13a). Dusty Collins ranks third with 23 points (10g/13a), Sean Sullivan ranks fourth with 21 points (8g/13a) and David Schlemko ranks tied for ninth with 17 points (7g/10a).
