Sundogs Introduce Charter Members of Local Ownership Group, Mile High Hockey, LLC

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League introduced charter members of the Club's new local ownership group, Mile High Hockey, LLC, to fans and members of the media during a press conference Wednesday afternoon at Tim's Toyota Center.

Representing the new group were Brad Fain, partner of Fain Signature Group and managing member of Mile High Hockey, LLC, and ownership group investors Chris and Laura Markey, owners of Center for Physical Excellence, and Ed Lepordo, managing partner of McWhite's North American Van Lines.

Said Fain in a statement: "Our ownership group is extremely honored to be a part of rebuilding a major community asset such as the Sundogs. We are committed to returning the team to a championship caliber club, on and off the ice, run by a first class organization, focused on delivering exceptional customer service to the best fans in the CHL. We are dedicated to building a strong investment group with successful business owners to strengthen ties between the Arizona Sundogs and the region through local ownership. This is your team, the ice is down, and we're ready to drop the puck."

Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro, President Jerry McBurney, Tim's Toyota Center General Manager Gary Spiker and Central Hockey League Commissioner Duane Lewis were also on hand for the event.

"We are very pleased to welcome Mile High Hockey, LLC to the CHL family," said Lewis. "The importance of local ownership is never understated and heading into their fifth season we are confident the Sundogs are more firmly entrenched into their community than ever. We wish the team, the new ownership, and their fans the best of luck for the upcoming season and beyond."
